'Facilitate ATF supply system at Pantnagar airport

Published on:

Chief Minister Harish Rawat has written to the Union Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan requesting that aviation turbine fuel (ATF) supply system be facilitated at the Pantnagar airport.

Rawat said that Pantnagar is developing in the form of a big industrial hub and is also the gateway to Kumaon.

At present, the operation of flights from Pantnagar is being hampered due to the unavailability of ATF.

Only Air India is operating Pantnagar to Delhi flights four days a week while other private air service providers are not coming forward due to the unavailability of ATF in Pantnagar.

In his letter to the Union minister the CM requested him to direct Indian Oil Corporation or any other oil company to facilitate ATF for commercial aircraft at Pantnagar airport.
