The end-of-term Indoor club exhibition-cum-competition was held on Friday at the Indian Military Academy. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ranjana Singh, the First lady of the Indian Military Academy. The following clubs displayed their exhibits at the central foyer in Chetwode Building.
The Arts Club: The club helps in igniting the latent talent of the gentlemen cadets. Its exhibition showcases glass, oil and charcoal paintings alongwith pencil sketches.
Photography and Wildlife Club: A very innovative display of life like photographs with catchy captions and write-ups were put on display by this club, which has been very popular amongst the gentlemen cadets and Army Cadet College Wing cadets. Gentleman cadet Karthikeyan from this club had achieved distinction of getting the third best photography prize from the Governor of Uttarakhand on 16 Feb 2014 during the annual flower show at Raj Bhawan.
Computer Club: The members of this club apart from learning and improving their skills in computer also developed projects based on HTMl, SQl, C++, PHP, MSQl, VB, etc. New programmes were introduced to keep in touch with the latest in the IT world for conducting online exams and preparing the results simultaneously.
