A total of 946 Government employees were directed to attend the programme but 59 have not attended it.” MS Chauhan, an engineer, Rural Engineering Service said, “Since April first week, I have been working on election duty as master trainer.”
Government school teacher HS Negi who attended the training programme on Wednesday said, “Though, I worked as presiding officer in earlier elections, I forgot specifics about EVM. It’s good that the Government has organised a training programme before deploying the employees in the polling station.”
