The district administration, Champawat, has asked the officials concerned of different departments to ensure cent percent utilisation of the released funds by January 20.
More so, it has also directed the officials concerned to submit the proposal of developmental projects for the year -2015- 2016 under the district plan by the same period.
The Champawat district administration has also called for inclusion of the developmental plans mooted by the panchayat representatives for the year 2015-2016 in the district plan. The district administration Champawat has stressed on the need to promote fishery in the district. It has asked the officials concerned to invite applications from the interested people for construction of ponds and to take necessary measures to promote the fishery sector in this hill district.
At the same time, the district administration, Champawat, has asked the officials concerned of the Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) to electrify the villages with solar lights which have been left out of electrification drive so far. It has also asked the officials concerned to equip those villages with solar lights which are affected by snowfall. Besides, the district administration has also directed the officials concerned of the UREDA to install solar streetlights in Vamanpuri village in Champawat. It has asked the officials concerned to complete the ongoing construction works of the basic education department at the earliest. Notably, the State Government had released entire district plan fund to all the districts in a single installment at the beginning of the current financial year to ensure the funds are utilised on time.
