The voting for electing a new executive body for the Provincial Medical Health Services (PMHS), the powerful association of Government doctors of the State was held on Monday.
More than 600 doctors participated in the voting process which was held in the offices of Chief Medical Officers (CMO) in all districts.
The results of the elections would be formally declared on Wednesday. However trends show that Dr Dinesh Chauhan would become the new general secretary of the association.
Similarly, the election of Dr Meghna Aswal for the post of Vice President is also said to be certain.
Earlier Dr DP Joshi was unanimously elected as the President of the powerful association of doctors.
