On the third day of nomination process for Doiwala Assembly by-poll, a total of eight candidates purchased their nomination papers from Doiwala Tehsil on Monday.
Candidates can file their nomination for the Assembly by-poll by July 4. The polling will be held on July 21 and counting of votes will be held on July 25. The Returning Officer and sub-divisional magistrate, PC Dumka, said that eight candidates who purchased their nomination papers for Doiwala on Monday were Hira Singh Bisht of Indian National Congress and Independent candidates Sazid Ali, Fateh Singh Rawat, Buddhdev Semwal, Raju Maurya, Bishan Maurya, Dharampal Goyal and Vimal Gola.
