The Education Department has released an amended list of the transfers done on the posts of Principals in the Government schools.
These transfers were made under the previous Congress government before the imposition of model code of conduct. In the amended list, the department has transferred 36 Principals. A maximum number of 13 transfers are done in Dehradun district. In Tehri and Nainital districts five transfers each were made while three transfers were done in Haridwar and Pauri district.
Kunwar Singh Rawat who earlier was transferred as Principal Government Inter College (GIC) Nagaukhet, Dehradun is now shifted to GIC Banjarawala, Dehradun while Ramanand Pandey has been transferred to GIC Thano, Dehradun. He was earlier sent to GIC Nagukhet. In GIC Saura Saroli Dehradun, Gopal Krishna has been appointed. He earlier was posted at GIC BHEl, Haridwar. Ramkuamar Tomar would be the new Principal of GIC Nalapani while Harish Mohan Pandey is deputed as Principal of GIC Badasi, Dehradun. In GIC Badripur and GIC Kedarwala both in Dehradun, K S Dhami and S P Singh have been appointed as Principals respectively. Rajveer Singh Bhadoria is shifted from GIC Chauria Rudraprayag to Principal Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidhyalaya Rudraprayag. The department has shifted S D Mishra from GIC Sikandarpur, Haridwar to GIC Nizampur, Haridwar. Arti Chitkaria has been appointed as Principal Government Girls Inter College (GGIC) Dhirwali Haridwar while V P Bhatt is appointed as Principal GIC laldang Haridwar.
The department has appointed these Principals on ad-hoc and asked them join the places of their postings within a period of seven days.
