The education department ordered adverse entry in the annual entry of district education officers of Haridwar, Tehri and Pithoragarh for failing to present report about teachers who have not joined their new posts after being transferred under Uttarakhand Teacher Transfer Policy 2013. The department has suspended as many as 27 teachers of various Government schools who had not joined their new posts under the policy till Monday.
All the chief education officers were directed to release list of suspended teachers on Tuesday who have not joined their post after being after being transferred under Policy in the State. School education director general Radhika Jha issued instructions on Monday in a meeting. Around 60 teachers who have not joined their new posts will be suspended by the DEOs on Tuesday she said.
