Members of Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Manch and Sewa Ganga Foundation performed Dugdh Abhisek on Friday in memory of the 18 Indian soldiers who died in the terror strike on the army base in Urion Sunday morning. Speaking to The Pioneer, president of Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Manch, Amit Sharma said, “Every Indian is perturbed over what happened in Uri. We are praying to the mother Ganga to give the souls of those slain peace.”
The coordinator of Sewa Ganga Foundation and Brahmin Manch Satish Sharma echoed the same feelings, saying that the blood of the martyrs would give India strength to take on terror in an appropriate way.
