Drishti Eye Centre, which was started in 1998 by Dr MC luthra, has brought latest technology in Ophthalmology to Dehradun within the reach of the common man. They have been introduced phaco surgery, Retina surgery and lasik. With the recent addition of Blade-Free Femtolasik for Spectacles removal and Stitchless Microincision Retina Surgery (MIVS) at Drishti, Dehradun has become among the very few cities on the Medical tourism map for international patients.
They had organised DRISHTIKON 2013 to celebrate 15 years of Drishti’s service to Dehradun. Renowned speakers of international repute delivered lectures first to all doctors of Indian Medical Association, Dehradun followed by a full day meeting for over 100 eye surgeons from Uttarakhand and western UP on Sunday.
Other speakers include Dr Devin Sood, renowned glaucoma surgeon , Dr Gaurav Mishra from Meerut, Dr Satanshu Mathur, Kashipur and Dr Renu Dhasmana, HIHT, Dehradun. Dr Gaurav luthra, Dr Saurabh luthra, Dr Shrutanjoy Das and Dr Ateeya Parveen from Drishti Eye Institute also delivered talks.
