After being selected for the Bengal Ranji Trophy team, Dehradun lad Eashwaran Abhimanyu has now been selected as a probable member of the under-19 cricket world cup team.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday released a list of 30 probable players for the under-19 World Cup figuring the name of E Abhimanyu. The team will participate in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup to be held in United Arab Emirates in February 2014. This is another feather in the cap of Abhimanyu who was recently selected for Bengal Ranji Trophy team on the basis of his impressive performance that includes 101 not out for East Zone against North Zone in Junior Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament and 168 runs for Bengal against Uttar Pradesh in
Cooch Behar Elite under 19 Cricket Tournament earlier this month. The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup will have 16 international U-19 cricket teams playing one-day matches from February 14 to March 1, 2014.
