With an intention to provide benefit of food security schemes among genuine beneficiary Dehradun DM BVRC Purushottam convened a meeting with supervisor, workers of ASHA and anganwadi in Dehradun on Thursday.
Its objective was to provide macro and micro details of the scheme to the officers and workers of the district administration. In which he disclosed that last date for identification of genuine beneficiary is October 12 so don’t accept application after the deadline. For this Government is going to pay them some emolument as well so pay you full dedication while doing their part of work. You give special emphasis on selection of real beneficiary.
You also maintain register having information about the selection of genuine candidate and rejection of unreal applicant so that official would easily allocate card among the beneficiary. As per the scheme five kilogram ration including three kg rice and two kg wheat would be disbursed per person. Currently Antyodaya and BPl card holders are getting 35 kg ration. If you come across a person, who is having APl card and wish to procure new card then you assure them that you can procure their ration with their old ration card.
