Doon distributors demand arrest of 'fraudster' Moga

Published on:

Dozens of members of Yuva Doon Distributors Association Uttarakhand led by BJP leader Umesh Aggarwal staged protest at SSP office, demanding immediate arrest of Ashish Moga, owner of a firm named Bright Events and Caters located on Mussoorie Road, who had allegedly purchased FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) worth lakhs from Dehradun-based distributors against cheques that had bounced.

When the distributors contacted Moga’s office and enquired about him, those present there told them that Moga had left. The association members submitted a memorandum to SSP Pushpak Jyoti, demanding arrest of Moga who had allegedly played fraud on distributors — Shere Punjab Trading Company, SM Fruits, Waghwa Marketing, Guru Kripa and Chacha Shri Agency — after they lodged an FIR against him at the police station.

Aggarwal said that Moga had committed fraud to the tune of lakhs. He said he had asked SSP to lodge an FIR under appropriate sections of IPC against Moga so as to ensure he is arrested without delay. Among those present in the protest were Kamal Jeet Sharma, Ashish Kapoor, Anil Kumar Bhola, Pragati Kumar Maan, Sanjeev Aggarwal, Sanjay Bhatia and Anuj Kumar Singhal.
