Demanding action against traffic police who had allegedly manhandled an advocate S Kukreti who is practising in Dehradun court, members of Dehradun Bar Association protested at SSP office on Friday. Advocates led by DBA president Rajeev Sharma assembled at SSP office and demanded action against the traffic police who had allegedly manhandled the advocate at Survey Chowk.
Acting on the complaint, SSP ordered an inquiry into the matter while assuring the protesting advocates that action would be taken if the traffic constable is found guilty. Police have been directed to review CCTV footages to be collected from Survey Chowk.
