While chairing a public hearing at the Collectorate on Monday, District Magistrate SA Murugesan took a serious note of land encroachment allegation raised by a CRPF personnel Sanjay Kumar Bamola, resident of Kargi, during the time he was in Jharkhand on duty. DM directed the Sub-divisional (sadar) Magistrate to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter.
In his written complaint, Bamola stated that his younger brother has captured his land and requested DM to take necessary steps to ensure that it comes back to him as he is the legitimate owner of the land.
Public complaints raised during the hearing were mostly related to municipal corporation, social welfare department, education and rural development departments, public works department, jal sansthan, power department and MDDA.
