In view of President of India Pranab Mukherjee's scheduled visit on October 18 to lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, the Dehradun district magistrate BVRC Purushottam convened a meeting with district officers and directed them to complete the work assigned to them within the given time frame.
Purushottam said that the district officers were directed to ensure that assigned tasks in connection with president's visit are completed with responsibility and honesty.
He categorically warned the district officers that dereliction of duty will not be under any circumstances. He further said that Dehradun Chief Development Officer Jyoti Niraj Khairwal was appointed as officer in-charge for making all the arrangements of president's visit to the academy.The district officers who face any problems while executing their assigned tasks will consult Khairwal.
Additional DM Jharna Kamthan was deputed for making all the arrangements at Jolly Grant during President's arrival and his departure for Delhi.In order to complete her assigned work, she will be in touch with the officers, including fire officer appointed by Dehradun SSP.
SDM Himalaya Singh Martolia will be in touch with the officers appointed by SSP. In addition to this, they would arrange vehicles and food for the district officials.
Tehsildar Sangeeta Kanojia will be available at Jolly Grant and will help the officers for completing all arrangements there.
Uday Singh Rana, Upper Mukhya Nagar Adhikari will be at Sahastradhara helipad and be officer in-charge of making all arrangements there.In the case of bad weather condition, President will arrive at Sahastradhara from Jolly Grant and reach the academy by road.
Tehsildar Gurdeep Singh Kala will be posted at Sahastradhara helipad and will coordinate with the officers appointed by the SSP. SDM Dehradun Ramji Saran will be at Sahastradhara helipad and be the route officer from Sahastradhara helipad to the academy.
ADM Harak Singh Rawat will be posted at Polo Ground and be the route officer during arrival and departure of the president from Polo Ground to the academy and back. Mussoorie Municipality executive officer Prahlad Singh Rawat will be posted at Polo Ground, Mussoorie and coordinate with officers including fire officers appointed by SSP. City magistrate GC Gunwant will be available at collectorate during VIP's movement. He will receive memorandums from protesters at collectorate.
Senior city health officer, Municipal Corporation of Dehradun, RK Singh was directed to improve sanitation at programme site and different roads. The general manager of Uttarakhand Power Corporation limited, Dehradun was directed to ensure smooth supply of electricity at programme site and depute officers there.
The general manager of Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan was directed to ensure smooth supply of water at programme site. Chief medical officer, Dehradun was directed to deploy four medical teams and ensure necessary medicines at programme site.
