The District legal Service Authority (DlSA), Pithoragarh, has launched a mobile legal awareness campaign in the district which will continue till November 17, 2014.
Officials of the DlSA said that while the campaign was launched in different parts of the district including main city Pithoragarh, Aincholi, Vadda and Jhulaghat on Tuesday, people of Chandak, Mostmanu and adjacent areas will be able to take part in this legal awareness campaign on Wednesday.
Officials further informed that the legal awareness programmes will also be held in Jajardewal, Kanalichhina and Didihat on November 13 and same programmes will be conducted in areas like Government Degree College, Narayan Nagar, Askot and Dharchual on November 14.
People of Baluwakot, Jauljibi, Madkot and Munsyari will be able to join the said campaign in their respective areas on November 15. The awareness campaign will also be organised in Thal, Berinaag and adjacent areas on November 16 and Gangolihat, Dasaithal, Raiaagar, Ganai Gangoli on November 17. The basic purpose of this campaign is to make people aware about the legal issues. Therefore, citizens are advised to attend the programmes in maximum number.
