Divisional Commissioner CS Napchayal reviewed the preparation of Kanwar Mela with the district officials here on Monday.
He instructed the officials concerned to complete their assigned works on time.
Kanwar Mela will start here on August 1 and would continue till August 14. An over one crore turnout is expected this year.
DC asked the officials to clean the roads which the Kanwaris would use during the mela by the end of July. He visited and inspected various sites along with district magistrate H C Semwal, mela adhikari S A Murugesan, IAS trainee Anchal Sood, additional chief officer Rajiv Tripathi and heads of several departments.
