The District Sports Officer, SK Sarki has lodged a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police and District Magistrate against some youngsters on Monday. In his complaint Sarki has alleged that he was manhandled by some youths at Pavilion ground on Sunday.
On Sunday organisers of the Girls Challenge cup spotted some members of local football clubs who were playing in the ground and asked them to stop playing as the venue was being prepared for the event which was scheduled to start on Monday. The youngsters refused to leave the ground after which Sarki intervened and asked them to show the permission or leave the place. Sarki in his complaint alleged that the intruders got infuriated at his orders to leave the ground and manhandled him. He demanded that police should take action against those who abused and manhandled him while on duty.
