The district administration were directed to execute the works related to natural calamity on priority basis and also consult the local MlAs recommendation while preparing DPR of the any project, said Rajendra Singh Bhandari, vice president of Twenty Points Implementation Programme in a meeting held with the public representatives and district officers in Dehradun on Friday.
Bhandari directed them to include all the proposals of local representatives in the construction works being undertaken. No proposal should be drafted without consultation of local MlA, he added.
The projects which have been completed should be verified by the sub divisional magistrate concerned followed by release of funds for project concerned immediately. Funds should not be released without inspection of the project work by the SDM concerned. He directed the additional DM (finance) to review the progress of under construction works and ensure that projects are completed within the stipulated time.
