The Dehradun district administration will distribute over 10, 000 cotton masks in those areas which were sealed after COVID-19 positive patients were found there. These masks are being made available by various Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Dehradun.
According to Dehradun Chief Development Officer (CDO) Nikita Khandelwal, "We will start distributing the masks in the sealed areas of the city from Saturday. Possibly around 10,000 to 15,000 cotton masks will be distributed in these areas with the help of sanitation workers."
Khandelwal said that initially the mask distribution will be done in sealed areas and after that the distribution will be done in the other areas of the city too. "We will distribute cotton masks which are being made available through the mass production by SHGs of Dehradun," added CDO.
