The Dehradun district administration will take action against the schools pressurising parents to deposit the school fee or raising the fee during the lockdown. On Sunday, district magistrate Ashish Kumar Shrivastava informed that if the district administration receives any complaint from the parents about any school management raising school fee or compelling them to submit the fee during the lockdown, action will be taken against the school following investigation. He stated that the parents can complain about such issues to the administration through the district control room number 0135-2726066.

Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Abhibhavak Sangh (UAS) stated in a letter to the Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat that despite of the government's orders of not forcing parents to submit the fee, some local schools are constantly asking parents to deposit the amount. The Sangh has requested the CM to take action against such schools.
