The flawed economic policy of the country is responsible for the ills like corruption, price rise and unemployment and Congress-led UPA, BJP-led NDA, Third front and Aaam Aadmi Party (AAP) are determined to carry forward this economic policy. Coming down heavily on the top political parties of the country, the leaders of the Communist Party of India, Marxist leninist (CPI-Ml) said this while talking with the media persons on Thursday.
The CPI-Ml leaders said that the disaster of May in Uttarakhand was man-made and the development model dictated by the mafia and big corporate houses is responsible for it. CPI Ml alleged that to cover the corrupt and inefficient Bahuguna Government the change in leadership was done in Uttarakhand, and the present Chief Minister Harish Rawat is working on the same policies which Bahuguna started. The leaders also attacked the left parties, Communist Party of India (CPI) and Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI M) for aligning with tainted leaders like Mulayam Singh Yadav in UP and Navin Patnayak in Orissa.
The State secretary of the Party Rajendra Pratholi said that parties like BJP and Congress are openly violating the model code of conduct; and further alleged that corporate houses are financing the candidates of BJP and Congress in the general elections. He said that recently released CAG report has exposed the 100 days MNREGS in the state as it mentions that the people of the state get only 39 days of the employment. Pratholi said that rural tourism should be promoted to generate employment in the hilly areas of the State.
The CPI Ml leaders also presented their agenda for Uttarakhand in the ensuing general elections. The party feels that the land consolidation in hills is necessary to prevent the exodus from the mountainous areas of the State.
The Member of Central Committee of Party Raja Bahuguna, Party candidate form Nanital parliamentary seat Kailash Pandey, party candidate from Almora, Vijay Kumar, candidate from Garhwal Indresh Maikhuri and many prominent leaders of the party were present on the occasion.
