Following the complaint of BJP about violation of model code of conduct, Election Commission has served a notice to Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR) on Thursday. In a written complaint, BJP alleged that DIPR had called media to cover minority community meeting with Chief Minister in Bijapur guest house on Wednesday. EC has asked why they had called media for coverage.
