Digital single lens cameras are a big hit among the new generation. Priced around Rs30,000, they are capturing the fancy of the young budding photographers who are wildlife enthusiasts. Even the camera shops are hooking the youngsters by holding workshops in photography where the tricks using double zoom kits are taught.
“I am learning photography in my school photography club. I have come here to explore more at the shop,” said Tanvi of Delhi Public School while shopping with her friends at the newly opened Cannon image square. “Now I can visit Rajaji National Park and click wide angle pictures, landscapes for my school magazine since I got this DSlR,” added Tanvi. Another student looked excited to find a camera at a much lower price which gives wi-fi facility to transfer the photo on mobile and upload immediately on networking websites.
“There is a lot more to learn in shooting. It takes years to understand the right angle and use all the available features on the camera. We invite students to learn free at our shop,” said Guneet Singh Rajan of Canon India while teaching the tricks of adjusting the lens.
