The Dhikala zone of the Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) was closed as usual for general public from Sunday.
It is to note that the Dhikala zone of the CTR is usually opened for public from November 15 and it remains open for the visitors till June 15, as the visiting time schedule for general public issued by the CTR administration suggests.
Therefore, the Dhikala zone has been closed as per schedule from Sunday, said the officials concerned of the CTR, Ramnagar. However, tourists need not to be worried as the Jhirna zone of the CTR remains open throughout the year. More so, people may also visit the Bijrani zone till June 30 as the officials concerned of the CTR said. Besides, as per the guidelines of the CTR, the Sonanadi zone and the Domunda zone of the CTR will also remain open for the general public till June 30.
