The former minister and senior Congress leader, Mantri Prasad Naithani started his ‘Devyachana Yatra’ from the Rampur Tiraha in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The Yatra would cover all districts of Uttarakhand and would culminate at Khatima town of Udham Singh Nagar on March 2. Addressing the party workers at Roorkee on the day, Naithani said that the BJP Government is deliberately closing down the schemes launched by the Congress Government and all developmental works in the State have come to a stand still.
He said that the Yatra has blown the Bigule of change in the state. Naithani accused the state government for being a failure on all fronts and said that the BJP Government instead of solving the problems of the people is determined to crush the public movements.
