In support of CPI-M candidate form Tehri lok Sabha constituency SP Devli, party workers organised a road show here on Sunday. The show started at Adhoiwala and meandered through Sahastradhara road, IT park, Gujrada, Nagal, Maldevta, Raipur, Nehrugram, Bhagat Singh Colony, Vani Vihar, Shanti Vihar, Raipur Road and culminated at Chuna Bhata, Raipur road.
During the roadshow, Devli attacked both BJP and Congress for their flawed economic policies and claimed that the people of the constituency are supporting him in large numbers. SS Sajwan said Devli was emerging as a strong alternative for both BJP and congress in the constituency and people with communist and secular mindset are lining up in his support.
The election coordinator of Raipur area Virendra Bhandari said that working classes are feeling isolated under the Congress regime, he claimed alliance of farmers and labours would ensure victory of Devli in Tehri.
