Poor utilisation of funds has come as a cause of concern for the Udham Singh Nagar district administration with utilisation of only Rs 22 crore by it under district plan till January end, against Rs 55.65 crore approved under the same district plan for the year 2013-2014.
As the aforementioned figures reflect, if the district administration Udham Singh Nagar has been able to spend only Rs 22 crore during the past nine months i.e. from April to January 31, out of Rs 55.65 crore approved under the district plan for the year 2013-2014, how can it utilise rest of the fund i.e. about Rs 33.65 crore under the same head in the next about two months till March 31, 2014 of this current financial yearIJ
The matter of fact is that more than 50 per cent of the fund under the district plan is yet to be utilised by the Udham Singh Nagar district administration till March 31, 2014. In the meanwhile, Dheeraj Singh Garbyal, CDO, Udhama Singh Nagar, has directed the officials concerned to ensure full utilisation of the fund which is remaining from the previous year till February.
