On a day when almost all nurses, including those working in administrative posts participated in the mass casual leave programme called upon by the powerful association, one senior nurse Neelam Haldhar stood out by attending the work. She was escorted by the PMS of the hospital to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she was deployed for the day. Talking to the Pioneer Haldhar said that she is doing nothing extra ordinary by doing her duty. “I personally think that I am paid enough by the State Government to fulfill all my requirements”, she quipped. She added that the call of duty was important for her than toeing the line of the association.
