The education department would prepare a list of teachers who are seriously ill or their close family members are suffering from some serious ailment. This list would help the officials in effecting transfers. The order to prepare the list was given by Education, Youth and Sports Minister Arvind Pandey at a meeting with department officials at Vidhan Sabha on Friday.
He said that the transfer list of such teachers should also be prepared soon so that they can be transferred to the desired areas. It must be written here that the Government has taken a leninent view in this context and it must be appreciated at any cost.Pandey however added that the officials should investigate the medical certificates of such teachers through a medical camp organised by state medical board headed by a designated medical officer so that the transfer process can be done in a fair and transparent manner.
Pandey also ordered cancelation of the transfers done in middle school department through a government order on November 21, 2016.
