With 14 more people being diagnosed with dengue on Thursday, the number of such cases in the state has touched 517. On the day, the state medical health and family welfare department informed that six new cases of the disease have been reported from Haridwar district while the number of such cases reported from Dehradun district was five. Besides, two dengue patients have been reported from Tehri and one patient has been found positive, post- Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay (ELISA) test, in Nainital on the day.
Haridwar district with 173 cases of the disease so far tops the list of dengue patients this year while 155 people in Dehradun have been diagnosed with the disease. In Tehri district, 108 cases of the disease with two deaths have so far been reported
