The Dena Bank chairman and managing director Ashwani Kumar inaugurated the bank’s branch in Pauri.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Dena Bank is progressing in terms of opening new branches as well as business parameters in Uttarakhand. Presently, the bank has 38 branches in Dehradun zone. In order to provide best banking facilities to the unbanked areas, Dena Bank is keen to open new branches in Uttarakhand and inauguration of a branch in Pauri was a step in this direction. To mark the inauguration of a branch at Pauri, a credit camp was also organised in Dehradun zone with a total amount of Rs 12.33 crore being sanctioned by all branches of Dena Bank, Dehradun zone. Kumar informed the gathering about the various schemes of the bank which is also offering lowest interest rate in the country on home loan.
