The principal secretaries and secretaries of finance, agriculture, trade tax, tourism, revenue, health and other departments concerned will be included as members of this committee.
The Chief Minister directed officials to prepare a list of those who had made land purchase on a large scale during the past two-three months. It was stated in the meeting that all district magistrates are holding camps for opening bank accounts of labourers and workers.
The CM also directed that the excise duty imposed by the State Government on liquor purchased from the CSD canteen be decreased for ex- servicemen. The CM also directed the officials to prepare a working plan for encouraging the concept of organic meat in the State. An organic meat marketing board should also be made for this purpose, said the CM, while adding that considering the higher price of organic meat, goat rearing can be developed into a more profitable venture.
