Opposing the acts of violence being unleashed on the activists of Sangh Parivar and its affiliates by the cadres of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Kerala,   members of lok Adhikar Manch (lAM), a RSS off-shoot,  staged a demonstration at Parade Ground on Tuesday. The protesters also served a memorandum addressed to the President of India. They urged the President to impose the Central rule on the southern state.

The protestors said that a reign terror has been let loose on the nationalist forces at the behest of the CPI-M- led Government in the state.

lAM patron Shashikant Dikshit said that the Sangh cadres engaged in efforts to revive the spiritual/religious tradition of Kerala are at the receiving end of the murderous attacks being perpetrated by the Marxist goons, doing the bid of the CPI-M helmed Government.

“However, we can hardly be cowed down by such attacks. We would continue to spread our networks with the objective to reminding the people of Kerala the luminous tradition the state has been epitomising since the dawn of Hindu religion,” he said.

Another RSS member Ranveer said that in eight years, eight persons have been killed brutallyin Kannur district of Kerala alone.

“Over the past 60 years, over 260 nationalist activists have been murdered,” he added.

Rashtra Sevika Samiti member Dr Anjali Verma said that Kerala, lauded as a land of God, is now under the Marxist tyranny.    “Cases of murder of the nationalists are being casually dealt with by the police who do not care to go for investigation to identify the murderers. We are thus    appealing to the President of India to impose President’s Rule in Kerala,” she said.

Uttarakhand tourism minister Satpal Maharaj, BJP state general secretary Naresh Bansal, lAM member Himanshu Aggarwal and ABVP member Arun Chamoli were among those present during the demonstration.
