Dobra-Choti Bridge Banao Sangharsh Samiti appealed the people to attend the meeting over the demand of bridge construction in Dehradun on May 17. Around Rs 132 crores were released by the Centre and the State Governments in the past ten years for the construction of Dobra Choti bridge, Pratapnagar, Tehri district. But this bridge is yet to be completed with the money being appropriated by the contractors or other persons involved in it, alleged the members of the outfit. The State Government should conduct judicial inquiry into this issue, said BJP leader Rameshwar Prasad Painuli while interacting with media persons on Saturday.
