The Dehradun district magistrate Ravinath Raman reviewed the various arrangements and security aspects of the main function to be held on the Parade Ground on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26.
He directed the officials concerned to ensure that no problems are encountered in organisation of the event. Officials should efficiently discharge the responsibilities accorded to them.
He also directed officials to complete work on time and ensure seating arrangement for the invited persons as per protocol.
A time period of about 20 minutes has been fixed for the display of tableaux by various departments on the occasion.
Chief development officer Alok Kumar Pande, municipal commissioner Nitin Singh Bhadauria, additional district magistrate (administration) Pratap Shah, city magistrate lalit Narayan Mishra and others were also present during the DM’s visit to Parade Ground.
