Demanding transfer of SDM Nitin Badoriya for his alleged misbehaviour with a senior advocate, advocates of the Bar Association Dehradun boycotted their works in the court on Thursday. Subsequently, works related to court and revenue were adversely affected. Advocates expressed anger over the alleged misbehavior of the SDM with senior advocate Satya Narayan and took out a rally in the court to register their protest against SDM Badoriya.
A delegation led by president of Bar Association Rajeev Sharma met the DM Ravinath Raman and demanded prompt transfer of SDM. The outcome of the meeting was unproductive, said one of the agitating lawyers. Sources said that when Narayan sought an immediate date regarding a case from SDM, he refused and threatened to lodge FIR against him.
