Doon Business School (DBS) and Sardar Bhagwan Singh (SBS) PG Institute, Dehradun have joined hands with Rotary Club to form the Rotaract Club. Installation of the Rotaract new team for the Management of CSR activities of DBS for the year 2014-15 was done in DBS on Thursday. According to DBS official, the objective was to provide an opportunity to the young students for enhancing their professional knowledge and leadership skill so that they can address the needs and concerns of the society. The vice- president of Club Anshumi Singh made a presentation on the various community projects undertaken by the Club of DBS in the year 2013-14 and handed over the baton of the club, signifying the change of leadership to the new president Saurav Kumar Dey (DBS) and Vani (SBS). The new president introduced his team and also outlined his plan for community service for 2014-15. The club also felicitated Rajat Bhutiya and Noopur for being made the secretaries. Rotaract, a global network of community volunteers, is one of the largest and most influential international humanitarian service organisation. The president of Rotary Club, Rakesh Malhotra and Dr S Farooq, secretary, were present on the occasion. SK Aggarwal, founder DBS, Mohit Agarwal, chairman DBS, Dr AK Dubey, Director Campus DBS, Shilpa Bhatt and others also participated in the installation ceremony.
