Students of DBS (PG) College demonstrated at the campus,  demanding redressal of their problems on Saturday.

Protesters led by the president of the college’s student union Yogesh Ghaghat met the college principal and submitted a memorandum, demanding improvement in the infrastructure of the college.

Ghaghat said that they would extend full help to the college administration if the latter does something in creating a better educational atmosphere in the institution.

“The college lacks basic infrastructure like portable water and  lighting facilities among others. Every class room of the college should have lED bulb facility. Old water filters should be replaced with new ones.  The old fans installed in the class rooms should be replaced with new ones. Under UGC grant fund,  the college should be equipped with wi-fi facility. Besides, the students are facing problems as the  mark sheets contain errors. The college administration must take up the faulty mark sheet  issue with the  university administration,” the student leader said.
