DAV College to hold polls in August last week

The DAV College administration is planning to hold the student union elections in the last week of August. The Principal of the college Devendra Bhasin said that as the HNB Garhwal University has declared September 02 as the date of university student union elections the college election could be organised in August. He said that a formal decision would be taken soon in consultation with the student leaders.

Bhasin said that admissions for I year BA, BSc, B.Com and llB would start from Monday. He said that the admissions would be taken on the basis of merit only. Bhasin warned that if it is found that any student has declared false marks and he managed to get into merit then a police case would be slapped against him.
