The said record has found the space in the ‘limca Book’ of world Record.
lt Tewari passed out from RIMC in the 2008, a bright cadet then, used to be good in studies and was active on games field too. Climbing these passes on difficult terrain was a rigorous effort. Braving natural extremities like rains, landslide, hail and snow was a herculean task. Adding to the difficulty was their continuous fight for sleep and fatigue, low oxygen concentration at high altitude was again a major hurdle.
Climbing passes in this environment got them panting and on many occasions they were almost choked and had to dismount from their cycles and take a few deep breaths to relax and start again. Col HS Bainsla, SM Commandant, RIMC expressed happiness for such an achievement by an old boy of the school. The expedition was sponsored by India Redbull.
