On the third day of the five-day workshop on skill enhancement training for the investigating officers, experts talked about several aspects of cyber crimes like social media frauds, fake call centres, bank frauds and collection of digital evidences being held at police lines in Dehradun on Wednesday. During the workshop, Akash Negi, regional head, fraud control unit, axis bank, Dr Arvind Chaturvedi, additional SP, lucknow, UP and Dr Triveni Singh and additional SP, STF lucknow spoke on the above issues. Negi talked about various sources of bank frauds and various types of bank frauds like credit/debit cards in details. Dr Triveni Singh talked about fake call centres, social media frauds and its investigation. Dr Arvind Chaturvedi talked about how to strengthen the cases through digital evidences and others. IG (law and order) Deepam Seth was also present on the occasion.
