It is pertinent to mention here that the CT scan machine of the hospital is prone to repeated breakdowns. The machine was dysfunctional for more than three months earlier this year. The CT scan machine was installed in the erstwhile Doon hospital in the year 2004. The manufacturer of the machine ‘Siemens International’ also holds the maintenance contract of the machine.
The hospital authorities have requested the state administration to replace this old CT scan machine with a modern 128 slice modern machine.
