The public sector companies should provide infrastructure and other facilities in the Government schools while keeping in mind the priorities of these schools. This suggestion was made by the Chief Secretary (CS) Utpal Kumar Singh while presiding over a meeting organised to provide basic facilities in the Government schools at secretariat on Tuesday.

He stressed that water connections in all the toilets that are being constructed should be done.

The CS asked the secretary education Bhupinder Kaur Olakh to prepare a comprehensive proposal for providing basic facilities in the schools for ONGC and THDC.

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Ranvir Singh, Principal Secretary Radha Raturi, Manisha Panwar, Secretary Anand Vardhan, A S Hyanki and the officers of ONGC and THDC.
