Along with ATS, Rajasthan, Dehradun police have arrested a criminal Ramesh Daulat Puriya, native of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan from Jhanjhra, Premnagar on Monday. He has a bounty on his head. He fled while serving life sentence in Udaypur jail in connection with a murder case. He was on parole when he fled.
He committed several crimes along with a gang named Bhanu, named after the gang leader. After the death of Bhanu in 2011, he took up the charge of the gang.
