Haridwar came up next to avail the service, he said.

“Following the success of this service, we have now launched it in Haldwani. We hope it would help regulate the motorists on roads and more importantly, save life from any road accidents,” he added. “Before CPU was launched in Dehradun about 500 people died every year on roads as many two-wheelers were driving without helmet. However, with strict enforcement of use of helmet by CPU, the number of death involving two-wheelers came down to 250,” he added.
