Two-day long CPI(M) district conference concluded at Rudrapryag on Sunday. A resolution was passed by them on the issue of disaster, attack on MNREGA, attack of wild animals, communalism, Health, Education and employment. A massive rally in which hundreds of workers and peasants and women took part in a rally at district headquarter, there militant slogans definitely indicated and upsurge in the movement led by CPIM in entire Mandakni Valley. Various conferences have passed resolution regarding the mismanagement and corruption in relief and rehabilitation programmes of the government. Now they decided to form local committees and local conferences in Guptkashi, Rudrprayag and Ukhimath. The rally was addressed by Comrade Rajaraam Semwal, Puroshatam Puri, Gangadhar Nautiyal and Vijay Rawat among others.
