A delegation from CPI (M) called on Dehradun Mayor Vinod Chamoli and raised various civic issues with him on Tuesday. The delegation submitted a memorandum to the mayor seeking redressal of various public grievances. Chamoli assured proactive action on the issues and issued necessary instructions to the officials concerned.
Issues raised in the memorandum include cleaning of the local bus stand near Clock Tower, laying of sewer line at Tilak Road, Dl Road, Nalapani Road, municipal wards nine and 10, cleaning in Akhada Mohalla, fumigation against mosquitoes and opening of a library or dispensary in the octroi building on Nalapani Road. According to the delegation members, the mayor agreed to the demands raised in the memorandum and assured them of necessary action.
