A delegation of journalists led by ex-president of Dehradun Press Club, Yogesh Bhatt met the Sports Minister Dinesh Agarwal at his residence on Monday demanding that policemen allegedly involved in the attack on some journalists during the Khali show should be suspended. The minister assured the delegation that stern action would be taken against guilty. Agarwal called up the Senior Superintendent of Police Sadanand Date on phone and asked him to investigate the case. The media persons have photos and videos of police personnel who assaulted them. The SSP has handed over case to SP city Ajay Singh.
